Briddy

Briddy’s journey started at the young age of 15, touring with Chris Brown as a “Krumper” on Chris’s “Up Close and Personal Tour.” His older brother, “BShaw,” once one of Chris’s original background dancers, introduced the two who quickly became best friends. Briddy has also appeared in several of Chris’s videos. Shadowing these experiences, Briddy was bit by the entertainment “BUG”.

After touring with Chris in 2007, Briddy decided that he wanted to be a producer. Standing 6’5”, he realized that he was too tall to be a background dancer like his older brother – “BShaw” – therefore he took his per diem and invested in his first producing program “Fruity Loops” using his family’s computer to create his beats. He was on his way. Look out “Dr Dre!”

In May 2009, Briddy interned for Damon Thomas (of the renowned production team “The Underdogs”) at Baby Face recording studio “Brandons Way” in Los Angeles. After only a few short weeks, Damon noticed that he had a “Star” in his presence. Amazed at Briddy’s unique dancing and producing ability, Damon saw something special in Briddy. During July 2009, Briddy signed a co-publishing agreement with Rondor Music Publishing (a division of Universal Music Group). By November 2009, at the urging of Damon Thomas, Briddy formed a group known as “iSQUARE” with members Mike J, 10beats, Destiny. After an intense bidding war, the group charmed Jimmy Lovine and Diddy and put their signatures on the dotted line signing to “Pentagon/Bad Boy Records/Interscope Records.”

Just a few short months later, thanks to an amazing twist of fate, Briddy had embarked on a career that was sure to turn global working with some of the greatest producers in the music industry today.

In 2010, Briddy had the pleasure of meeting and working with two top major producers (Rami Yacoub / Carl Falk) on Nick Carter’s (of the Backstreet Boys) solo project where Briddy is featured on Nick’s solo single and video “Burning Up.”

Despite his success, Briddy’s burning desire to change his style of music and redirect the spotlight to his solo career as a recording artist has become his main objective.

His musical mission is “Alternative/Pop/Hip Hop.” To him, it’s about recognizing your own potential. It’s about having a good time. It’s about loving every minute of your life. It’s about letting the world see who you are.

Growing up, Briddy played with action figures and drew animated characters. People thought he was a weird and goofy kid. As a man, he is very comfortable with his direction in life and believes in himself completely. People now see him as a beacon of light, for He understands if you believe in yourself – people will believe in you too.

Briddy is a recording artist, rapper, producer, writer, dancer, entertainer and visionary, but most importantly, he is standing in the gap to bri “Good Positive Music” back.
