Andre 3000 working on new Jimi Hendrix movie!

The ups and downs of Andre 3000′s involvement in the upcoming Jimi Hendrix biopic are well documented. But the photographic evidence above suggests that the Hendrix estate’s reservations about casting Andre Benjamin aren’t stopping All Is By My Side from being realized. The project will focus on Hendrix’s formative period in England from 1966 to 1967, when, with the help of Eric Burdon, he transformed from a little-known sideman of Chitlin Circuit like Ike Turner and the Isley Brothers, into the standard-bearer of electric blues.

One Music Fest announces first 2 artists!

Atlanta’s most anticipated summer music festival returns Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, September 1st, 2012: The 3rd Annual ONE MusicFest.

ONE MusicFest will be filled with fantastic performances from local and national acts, great food from a variety of Food Trucks, a beautiful new location and an experience unlike any other.

Last year, we captivated the city’s music culture with over 4000 people and mastered our mission of unity through music with performances from diverse musical acts spanning musical genres from alternative rock to hip-hop.

This year, expect the unexpected and prepare for the pandemonium with over 5000 music lovers and more than 10 arces of green space!

With past performers including Common, Chrisette Michele, The Pharcyde, De La Soul, Tortured Soul, Goapele, Foreign Exchange, The Cool Kids, and Anoop Desai amongst others – you know 2012 ONE MusicFest is going to be the only place worth being on Saturday, September 1st!
